Kathy and I have just put a down payment on a piece of property  right outside of Guadalajara. It is 15,112 square meters (about 3.7 acres). The place is called Rancho Totepec (This name is from the Nahuatl Language meaning the Place of the Eagles. Nahuatl is an Aztec language). We will use this property to build our home as well as facilities to house teams and to store food and clothes for the poor. Below is a map and some pictures of the property. Right now there is no electricity or water lines but we are praying that the university      ( which will soon be building down the road) will pay to have the electric and water lines put in. Also there is no road to speak of but the University will build a main road once they begin construction. We hope you enjoy these pictures and share in the blessing that the LORD has given us.

This is a map of Guadalajara and surrounding area. The red square just west of the city shows approximately where our property is. Right now it is the middle of nowhere but the city will reach this area in a few years because of it's rapid growth.

As you can see. There are no paved roads yet. Anybody care for a swim? Yes, I drove through as this is the only "road" to the property.
